My introduction
Hi my names Ash!
I'm new to the community and have been living with chronic fatigue syndrome for nearly 6 years. I run my own business in painting and decorating and pretty much deal with this condition on my own and I admit I feel quite lonely with it. having said that I have family that kind of understand and are supportive. I'm here to share my journey and understand others as well as taking on advice and tips. I do feel as though Iam one of the lucky ones with this condition as I'm still working and do have some good days , weeks or months but at the same time some dreadful weeks or months. I work with a homeopathic doctor & a kinesiologist whom have been great support.
Thank you For taking this time to read my introduction and I look forward to hopefully talking to some new people

Welcome to the community @Ashers87! Thanks for telling us a little about yourself. It can be so isolating living with chronic illness when you're surrounded by people who don't quite understand. I hope the community can be a place where you can connect with others who know what it's like โบ๏ธ
Have you always run your own business?

Hi asher, welcome, I hope you find lots of help and support on here. As a long term sufferer of cfs and fibro and other conditions, I understand the difficulties of dealing with it all and the inability for some people to truly understand how debilitating it can be or the loneliness of it all but there are always people here to talk and listen.

@Mike_Whovian Thanks for the message, it would be great to share stories etc, do you suffer with the same condition?

Iโd really enjoy sharing stories and experiences with you. No, I donโt deal with the same condition, but Iโm always curious to hear how others manage and cope. How has your journey been so far? ๐๐ฌ

@Mike_Whovian it's been a bit if a rollecoaster really in some ways 6 years has felt like 6days and some times it feels like a lifetime, especially on those weeks or months when things are pretty bad! I'm quite a stubborn person so I've tried to keep going and do what I can but without over doing it. I've learnt alot though I'm still learning. Can I ask what condition it is you have and how long have you been suffering?
