Rent
UC pay my rent to the housing association every 4 weeks. When I phoned the housing association. The said not to let them know until after the 10th of April. They are sending out a new rent statement as the one in Feb they sent out was wrong. I'm in credit on my rent account. The woman I spoke too was confused about UC paying all of it. First saying they are paying to much. But the amount I gave them last year was what was on my statement. And what they also told me when I phoned last year about moving to uc. I also received my UC, 2nd installment on the 19th this month.but I don't think they received it from them.
Worried that by the 10th would be late.

How much is your weekly rent and how much does your UC statement say your housing element is?
When you say "They said not to let them know until after the 10th of April" is that about your rent increase?

Yes that's what the housing association said. Not sure yet, until I get the new statement from the housing association. Think it's £132.11 plus whatever maintenance charge will be

You can't tell UC about your rent change until after it has happened. Their system isn't set up to handle future changes.
UC pay rent for one calendar month per UC payment.
With rent due on a weekly payment cycle this can look wrong on your rent account, but is correct.
It's also my understanding that UC pay rent directly to LL once monthly, regardless if the claimant gets more frequent payments.

I can confirm that rent is paid monthly to my landlord even though I am paid twice monthly
