Hey @Darce21, how are you today? Thanks for sharing 😁
I’m wondering how you may like to meet somebody? What kind of activities do you enjoy?
There are quite a few apps and sites out there. Have you looked or tried any yet?
Sorry for all the questions! If you would like some dating app/sites recommendations, I’m happy to help2 -
Hey @Darce21, I’m good thanks.
Cool, I definitely think finding activities and communities either online or in person, is a good way to start meeting like minded people,
Regarding sites and apps,
Taimi- it says that it’s mainly for the LGBTQIA+ community but also users seem quite open minded around Disability https://taimi.com/
Facebook Dating is now growing in popularity and there’s the option to make friends too
I’ve found Tinder and Match can be a little hit and miss0 -
Thank you for your kindness @hotstuff. We hope you are having a nice weekend too

I’m looking for a dating agency for people with disabilities in wales as I have learning and I have used tinder and badoo before just full of scammers on there so I prefer not to use any dating apps I rather use dating agencies which is safer I’ve been single for to long about time I find someone now0
-
Have you enquired if any of your local community clubs having date nights @dylan89?0
-
@Hannah_scope I have there’s nothing locally or nearby at the moment0
-
Oh no @dylan89 - hopefully soon
Eventbrite is, generally, a good place to see what is happening in your local area too

Try It's a disability focused dating site, mainly for neurodiverse adults, remember that program that was on Channel 4 a few years back, The Undateables? They made it.

@Darce21 hi @Darce21 im Emily and I have mild cerebral palsy too so I understand how hard the dating game is in general. Have you tried an app called datability its a dating app for people wirh disabilities like ourselves ive been there a few times myself created a profile and everything and then end up deleting my profile because self doubt starts to creep in. You can download datability from Google app store. Im happy to talk farther if youd like to talk to someone 🙂 good luck with the search! @pooleemily29

Hi@Darce21,
I have mild CP too. I met my long-term boyfriend on Hinge.
Dating is difficult, but it is possible to meet someone. Take it at your own pace. Be friendly, and show your personality.
I know other people with CP who have met their partners on online dating sites.
Good luck.
Lucy
