It wasn't absolutely full, the League cup doesn't attract like the FA cup, which will be a full capacity stadium. I like the FA cup better.

Glasgow City beat Rangers Woman 2-1 this afternoon, in the final of the SWPL League Cup. I can't understand why Leanne Crighton was on punditry duty last night for the Japan friendly, when her Rangers team were in action today?

Maybe she is still contractually obliged to Sportscene/Sportsound? It can't have helped her deal with a cup final today!

Both woeful matches mate, England and Scotlands. Can't understand the booing at Scotlands though..Scotland missed some pearling chances and so did England. The refeeing at Englands match with his two yellows and no red and var taking an age. I watched Scottish match on iplayer.

Var is the ruination of football now and where does all this extra time come from. I use my second tv/pc monitor with a satallite cable instead of coax, more channels freeview.

I can't be bothered with VAR either. It isn't supposed to be a forensic examination they are conducting. I didn't think there was any VAR at friendlies?

Var was at the England match Soapy, why I don't know. It was a friendly.

Two dreadful matches last night, thank goodness they were on friendlies.

The Ivory Coast were a good side, if not up there with Japan.

Grumpy Steve Clarke not happy his team getting booed? Try getting them to win winnable games, then problem solved!

Apparently we didn't have Kane in the side. Top and bottom of it was, we were not good enough, Japan were better.

I had a feeling there would be some unhappy people on this thread after yesterday's performance πŸ˜‚

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜•It was painful to watch to watch Holly, according to the papers we were missing Kane. I'm sure England isn't reliant on one man. I'll leave it to Soapy to explain about Scotland lol

Guessing it was loud in your house during that game. It was here, that's for sure! Brilliant. Maybe next match they can just send him out πŸ˜‚

Dare I ask about your teams performance @SoapySoutar? Hopefully better than ours!

Scotland had a better game than against Japan, only 2 started from the last game, so the manager got a good look at what other options he has available.

The lack of a goal threat is nothing new with the Scotland national team, but i am sure they can raise their game when the World Cup (which i won't be watching, because it is corrupt) comes around. The Russia, followed by Qatar World Cups, i avoided watching them too.

If former FIFA president Sepp Blatter says it is corrupt, then that's good enough for me! (He had to resign in disgrace over corruption).

I pretty much only care about my local team, but will watch most games if i am at a loose end.
