Hi out there, does anyone know if there is a bill that has gone through the house of lords in which the DWP can take up to 40% of funds available if they suspect fraud with no evidence? At any given time

@scaredandconfused I haven't heard of this. Do you know where you read this?

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, this looks like a clear shift towards incentivising work while still protecting the most vulnerable claimants. The contrast between rising standard allowance and frozen LCWRA for new claimants will be interesting to see in real impact over the next few years.

I read somewhere that if you are reapplying for PIP it can affect your LCWRA payment as well, is that true?

I expect a gap, such as being found LCW, then later found LCWRA would be the lower rate? However I found a upper tribunal decision which found that if the gap is caused by means testing closing the UC claim, then the DWP cant treat it as a new claim, when they qualify for UC again, unless there is a new WCA that is different to the older LCWRA decision.

I saw it on this person's YouTube channel Alison Mcrobbie, she sounds like a scaremonger grifter , I guess you need to be to gain followers, but it unsettled me.

Unfortunately that's often the case @scaredandconfused. It's wrong really, as it causes so much unrest for people.

I've never heard of her tbh although I don't go on YT much, only for music so that's probably why ๐๐ . She does sound horrid though with her content and an utter bore ๐ซ ๐.

I'll do them for you then... ๐ด๐ด๐ด tbh though I think these just mean sleep ๐ซ ๐๐ .

Too many right whingers (deliberate typo, yeh) who hate benefit claimants in general, particularly the disabled! Some of the stuff I've had said to me both in person and online is literally unrepeatable in civilised conversation.

thank you for sharing this. DWP changed me to meetings twice a week and put me through to apply for this and didn't know what it was but posted on 20th March. It's big drop, good that they aren't applying the change to old claimants. That would be like suddenly pulling the rug from underneath their feet. It would impact in a big way.

Hi
I know who you are on about. She was always coming up on my you tube and I would listen to her to the point she terrified me so I blocked her. I now know longer see her videos. I've blocked quite a few on YouTube to the point I will not venture on to YouTube. A lot of them a scaremongering and it's not nice. I don't go on tiktok either that was just as bad.
