Would Skydiving be appropriate for a disabled/neurodiverse adult?
It's something that's been on my "Bucket list" for a few years, my Taekwondo boss is in the process of doing it forCharity.
I'd love to try it dressed as a bird (with all the safety gear on obviously), to pretend I'm flying lol.
Anyway, would they let a disabled guy do it on safety grounds?

Hello @SheffieldMan1976
I know many disabled people who have skydived, so it is definitely possible.

Thanks, I'll do some Googling for local venues.

I was refused last year about this time, even just a tandem jump. It will depend how physically disabled you are i suppose. There is a requirement to step onto the ground on landing, plus of course safely boarding the aircraft in the first place.

Good point.
I somehow doubt it'd be a feasible idea but it was just something I thought of.

Don't let me put you off, you can always enquire.

Well I've just seen this on YouTube, footage of a disabled girl Skydiving.
Looks like I could give it a go after all.

You could always try one of those sky diving training wind tunnels to see if its suitable for you, before you commit to skydiving. I know they have them around the UK, theres one not too far from me.

Yeah according to my Googling there's an indoor place in Manchester, Trafford Way.

It's not £10, it's now £39.58, thing is, there was an ad on TV last week claiming it's free to sell on eBay, it clearly isn't.

My Brother paid it off yesterday morning.
