I had a pip tribunal on Monday the 4th Dec. The court over turned the dwp decision and I was awarded enhanced care. Will the pip appeal the courts decision. How long would it take to be paid out

Hi Marlene and welcome
Congrats on winning your appeal
DWP usually take 5-8 weeks to put a tribunal award into payment.
You should ring the DWP to make sure that they have received the notice as they do mislay them
TheDWP can only appeal the decision on an error of law. To do this they must ask for a statement of reason from the judge within 28 days. If they do this you will be notified.

Thank you very much. Is it likely they will want to contact the court or should it be pretty straight forward In regards to payment being made0

We are seeing the DWP asking for an SoR more often now, but seldom does it result in anything more than a delay in making payment

Will the dwp ask for the minutes of the hearing as there was some very personal stuff discussed and I'm not sure id feel comfortable with them knowing. Thank you for advice on this0

If they ask for an SoR that is all it should be ie the reason why the judge made the decision that he did
