PIP MR
Had an MR phone call last Tuesday at 12 into challenge my first decision, would I have had backpay/ an award text by now as he said he was looking over it and I'd know in ten working days obviously it's been a 4 day weekend, would decision have been made last Tuesday or could it still be getting made

Hi,
Usually the decision is made quickly so I might have expected a text by now. But the back payment is sent by a different department so I don't think you can assume anything yet. Hopefully you'll hear something by next Tuesday.

Text would have arrived tho if awarded and would have been on proof of benefits website

They don't always send a text though, so we can't rely on that.
I don't know how quickly the proof of benefits website gets updated, but I agree I would expect it to show by now if the decision had been made last Tuesday.
The reality is that most MR's don't change the decision. But the only way to know for sure is getting the letter or backpay. I don't think anything positive can come from trying to guess based on timescales, especially over a bank holiday weekend.
