just received my letter for me to apply for pip even though I am 67 and have had my pension since I was 60years and 3months. At first I panicked - they cant say I am fit for work as I am a pensioner! I get full motability and living allowance, I get pension credit and my rent and rates paid to think I might loose all of this and also my car it does frighten me , has any one any advice as to how I might deal with this. Hi Val and welcome
DLA and PIP use different criteria and it is important to understand the points system, descriptors and the criteria for a PIP award. A good starting place is the B&W self test.

Try taking the test and read the info on this site then come back with your questions

Thanks for that will do

Also be aware of the mobility component.
After 65 any mobility award will not be increased even if your needs change
What this means is that as long as you meet the criteria for the enhanced rate when you are assessed this time, you can continue to receive it and keep your car. If you only meet and accept the standard rate criteria then it cannot be increased in the future.
Hopefully this won't be an issue but best to be aware in advance
