My partner asked to confirm he is on ESA

Today I found a message on my Journal asking me to tell to my partner he needs to inform ESA office he is getting UC. Last month happened the same thing and again 2 or 3 month ago. In total this was the third time. Please, does anyone give me some context on this? What if he doesn't call?

    The UC message you got is an automated message sent periodically, a poorly worded reminder to keep your circumstances up to date across the different benefits.

    Mine get sent between 2-3am.

    No action is required if your circumstances remain the same.

    I never do anything after getting one because there is nothing for me to do.
