Universal credit April rent increase

in Universal Credit (UC)

hi I updated ny new April rent increase on the 6th on my journal all went through fine and was told housing association had verified it, but just checked my statement for the 20th and the rent is wrong it’s about £35 too much ???

    Are you sure you've calculated the rent for the full month? Not just for 4 weeks?

    If you pay rent weekly, Universal Credit pay a months rent (30 days) which can make the Housing Element look wrong, but is in fact correct 🙂

    To convert a weekly amount into a monthly you multiply the weekly amount by 52 then divide by 12.
