I'm visiting Harry Potter World in London next month..
As most of y'all know I'm a cosplayer, and would like to aquire a Harry Potter costume, I did buy one on Aliexpress.com which arrived last week, but it wasn't the full costume, just a white shirt which didn't even fit even though it was XL.
Anyway, without telling me to use Google, would anyone know a decent, ideally UK based site where I could get a Potter costume?

I would assume any fancy dress shop on the high street may have something suitableĀ @SheffieldMan1976
Harry Potter World sounds very exciting though! What part are you looking forward to the most?

Careful you don't end up with a Peter Rabbit costume! (Beatrix Potter). š°

Up to not that long ago there used to be one just up from the old Fire Station on Division St, Party City, I think it's gone now.
There's a small one on Ecclesall Road, I might pop down and have a look at some point.

This one is in Sheffield:
Also there's a list of fancy dress shops in your area:

I've been to Molly Limpet's before, back when they were on Chesterfield Road, Woodseats and then on Abbeydale Road, they have some decent costumes but they're expensive, and they don't have Harry Potter.

I found and bought a Gryffindor Robe on Temu yesterday, and it's coming by the 30th.
Should've looked on there in the first place probably.

Good that you managed to find something @SheffieldMan1976! I visited the Harry Potter Studio Tour a while back and it was great fun. They still had it all dressed up for Christmas, so the great hall was magical and I really enjoyed wondering around the sets and seeing all the costumes. Have a fab time!

Don't post any spoilers Rosie, I want it to all be new to me when we go, even though I've read all 7 books and seen all 8 movies.

I'm not a big Harry Potter fan but I've heard amazing things about Harry Potter World that I'd quite fancy going. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. Let us know!

Total nightmare on the AliExpress order! For decent UK-based quality, Iād recommend The Harry Potter Shop or even checking Vinted for official robes people are reselling
At least on Vinted, you can ask for actual measurements so you don't end up with another tiny shirt

Well I've just been down to ASDA and bought a white shirt to complete the costume, the Gryffindor cloak from Temu came yesterday tea time, I'm wearing it now, all I need last is to borrow one of Dad's ties from when he used to work, and wear my own glasses, sorted!
The staff suggested getting the "cut" on my forehead which Harry's famous for, don't need to go THAT far lol.

Yeah it's all made in Chinese sweat shops, although to be fair it's decent quality and not THAT expensive compared to similar stuff from other sites.

I looked the place up on Google Maps yesterday to see how far away it is, from here it's a bit less than 2 and half hours, not as far as I thought then.
