If my partner claims PIP and I get carers allowance for him, do they take the amount of carers allowance from my universal credit ?

Yes, Carers Allowance would be deducted in full from your UC award.
If you don't already get LCWRA element in your own name, you can claim Carers Element which is an extra £209.34 paid under Universal Credit.
