Informing Job Centre of saving in future

After the dwp disregarded the pip backdate payment l, do i inform the dwp when by saving come to £16k, without the back payment or the total amount of saving if I reach there before the 52 weeks

Hi,
If you only get PIP then you do not need to declare savings at all.
If you get Universal Credit then you should declare the new total amount of savings immediately, but put the backpay in the box on the 'disregarded capital' page.
