I have just submitted my Pip forms, I have been on pip since it began and dla before that. Anyway the last time I reapplied I didn’t have to have an assessment they just gave me my Pip. Does this mean I won’t have to have one again? I have spinal issues plus other conditions. All of which I’ve sent evidence of . Thanks for reading

@Dory2 hi welcome to the community.

You will need to have an assessment.

It will either be paper based, by telephone or a face to face one.

They will need to establish how your disabilities affect you and the evidence you sent in will be taken in to account.

Hi @Dorry and a warm welcome to the community from me!

As luvpink said above, you will still need to have an assessment and it sounds like last time you had a paper based assessment. This can happen if the assessor feels like they have enough evidence to make a decision without needing to do a face to face or telephone assessment😊
