Waiting for LCW to be reviewed. They are requesting fit notes???

Hey, All

Hope everyone is ok.

Just a quick question to anyone who might know.

I have been in LCW since 2022. I recently had some health changes and spoke to my coach about them. She told ne to ask them how long would it be before I am re-assessed. I informed them of changes to health via my journal. They wrote back to say, they can not say how long it will take for me to be reviewed and must continue to let them know of any other health changes and up load continously fit notes.

Is that correct about the fit notes?

If any can help, I would be grateful.

    Hi @Trufflecake unless there is a change to the award you'll likely have to continue submitting these. Would it be a possibility to ask your GP to provide a fit note for a longer period which might make things a bit easier? 😊

    I don't understand why i would now have to submit future notes if I am already on limited work capability. It doesn't make sense

    Hi @Trufflecake. As far as I'm aware you shouldn't need to send in fit notes while waiting to be reassessed. It may just be an error so I'd suggest contacting them to clarify.
