PIP appointment questions

Hi I had my PIP appointment yesterday it lasted 3 hours 9.30 to 12.25 the lady took her time going through all the questions. She then asked me questions what's your hobbies do you drive , do you read or watch TV. If a delivery person knocked on the door what would you say. I told her I need to get to the door before I can speak to them as I have mobility problems. Did you do GCSe's what did you study at college has anyone else had similar questions or same questions

I suffer with migraines I told the lady by the end of the assessment I couldn't even keep my head up had to lay down

And what is the purpose of asking these questions I suffer with migraine m's att the end of the assessment I was so sick I couldn't keep my head up

At 4.17 I got a text message from DWP saying we're received the written report of your PIP assessment . We will write to you once we have made a decision on your PIP. As a guide we should hear from us within 8 weeks. Did anyone one else get this txt message and how long after did you get a reply by text or letter

Now is just a long process of awaiting for a response.

    Hi and welcome to the community.

    You can ring pip and request a copy of the assessors report and that will tell you how many points you have scored and get an idea of the assessors recommendation.

    The decision maker usually but not always agrees with the assessment report.

    @Ashalu17 similar questions for me too, did I continue mainstream school?. Um yeah... 40 odd years ago, did i drive? No! Never learned because I have trouble with concentration and other things like blurred vision and black outs, I get migraines too, since I was 13 ,aura ,facial and arm numbness,extreme pain and nausea from them. So I understand. My last pip assessment over the phone was 92 mins and I was in a state of collapse after. So many conditions but majority were ignored and I wasn't asked how they affected me day to day. That was my third assessment, second by phone, first was f-f.

    Sent review form off Feb.. I'm in a state of fear leading up to any reassessment at least a year before it's due. Best of luck to you.
