Worried about PIP process

I’m new to this forum My name is Nic

I’ve just completed my pip form So it’s all very new to me

It worries me that it’s a difficult process and waiting for a response is equally stressful as it takes such a long time

My concern is that so many claimants are rejected

So you go all through that for a No decision usually

    Hi @NicolaTemple and welcome to the community. A lot of people here have experience of the PIP process and will be able to share their experiences. It's common to be rejected at the first stage so don't take it to heart. I've been through it and admittedly it was a stressful process, but it's worth it to carry on if you need to appeal. I had to go to tribunal and was finally awarded.

    Hi and a very warm welcome to the forum.

    The pip process is very stressful and awaiting a decision is extremely stressful for most people.

    We tend to hear a lot about people's negative experiences but people have positive experiences too.

    I had my mobility award reduced from high to standard after two re- assessments but I managed to get it overturned following mandatory reconsideration.

    I would have gone to a tribunal if that hadn't of been the case.

    I hope you get a positive outcome.
