Hi, I've been looking into the idea of comfort characters and Yumeshipping and I think it's an interesting topic just wondered what everyone else's thoughts are about this? /Lh (Light-hearted tone tag)

    I've heard of comfort characters before @AveryzSC! I think mine would be Olivia Benson from Law & Order SVU even though that poor woman has never known a day of peace or comfort in her life!! Do you have one?

    I haven't heard of Yumeshipping before though, what is it?

    My comfort character is ahem Betty from the Flintstones, I know she's a cartoon character but she's a bit of a darling, and I'd love to take her to bed with me lol.

    A comfort character is new to me, but I think it a great idea. I have something similar, but not exactly the same. A bit of a fictional fictional character to feel secure, it is not a character from a comic, book, or TV.

    Last Autumn I was listening to a session called Calming the Creature on IT (too bad, only accessible now for premium members) and it was very helpful to imagine a tiny creature who felt uncomfortable or out of their debt or something like that. How would you respond to it?
    I thought of a tiny, soft, blue animal that would fit in my hand. It looked a bit like a bear or a cat, so I asked Gemini to come with something and after a few attempts this was the outcome.

    I would say Connor or North from Detroit Become Human or maybe Chloe from Life is Strange, I've just finished the Last of Us Part I and I am now also going to say Ellie from that too!

    I have seen snippets and one off episodes from Law and Order, it's on my watch list to watch more!

    Oh and Yumeshipping is basically loving or seeing yourself as a friend to a fictional character:)

    That's what we would call an OC (Original character) and is still classified under fictional character:) but that's adorable I love them
