Hi i would like to ask for your opinion if possible. I have sent my pip review form on the 27 of April ,actually was sent by citizens advice because I didn't have the mental health capacity to do it by myself. I got a text today saying they received my form ,does anyone knows roughly how long i will be waiting for a decision?I live in East England region .This is so nerve recking .

Thank you so much in advance!!

    Hi welcome to the community.

Unfortunately waiting times seem to vary a lot.

Some claims are dealt with within a couple of weeks and others are taking a very long time to process.

Hi @Tbrown_70 and welcome to the community. As luvpink has said, unfortunately the wait times vary. I wish we could give you an idea to ease your anxiety. Do you have some mental health support at the moment?

It seems normal lately for some people to get a decision after only a couple of weeks and others to wait much longer… I'm not sure why but it may be due to regional issues? I'm not sure if a DWP case manager looks at them first and does the more straightforward ones themselves, or whether they all get sent to assessment company. I seem to have read somewhere that they are trying to get case managers to do more reviews to speed up processing times … @luvpink , @Rachel_Scope , do either of you know anything about whether this is the case?

    I have no idea.

All I know is that my claim was processed within 5 months, paper based.

I got a text saying it was complete and two weeks letter I received a decision letter.

My partners went through in just two weeks paper based.
