Journal messages from UC!!
Has anyone else started receiving these messages from Job Centre that are on LCWRA.
Would you like to have a chat about how I can help you?
We can talk about how I can support you. And we can identify things you can do to help you take the next steps – but only when you’re ready to.
For example, we can talk about:
- developing your skills
- building your confidence
- the things that matter to you
- potential options for the future
This chat is voluntary for you. It will not cause us to reassess your capability for work. The amount of Universal Credit you receive will not change.
If you want to know more, please reply to this journal message. I will arrange to contact you at a convenient time.

Then they sent me
Recently I asked if you would like to have a chat about how I can help you. This is still available.
We can talk about your needs and how we can support you. And we can do it at a time and pace that works for you.
This chat is voluntary for you. It will not cause us to re-assess your capability for work. The amount of Universal Credit you receive will not change.
If you want to know more, please reply to this journal message. I will arrange to contact you at a convenient time.
I herd they are reassessing people from these messages if you accept their help.
I have no interest in speaking to anyone at Job Centre, I have multiple health issues and trying to deal with those, everyday is enough for me mentally and physically right now.

Hi @cheekylittlekoala, These are quite common messages at the moment, they're reaching out to people on LCWRA to see if they can help in any way. I haven't heard of them reassessing people who do respond to them before though, where did you hear this?
You can either ignore them completely, or you can reply to say you are not interested. It's frustrating to keep getting them, but they are voluntary offers so your benefits won't be affected if you say no or ignore them ☺️
