Meh, if you watch Amazon etc on a TV you still need a TV licence.

There's a few Wildlife shows on Discovery, which is available through Sky or Virgin Media TV.

Advertising or a paid subscription service I would imagine, it would be for them to figure out.
Being forced to pay towards the BBC so I can watch sports or even wildlife shows on other channels, doesn't sit right with me.

Thing is though, even to watch Netflix, YouTube etc on an actual TV still legally requires a TV license, it's a fact of life.

We used to have to buy a TV licence just to listen to the radio!

Nope, never listened to the radio and hardly ever listen to music.
