Do I need to inform PIP of my entering a Taekwondo competition next month?
Above.
My instructor's asked me to send medical evidence of my disabilities to the British Taekwondo Council ASAP for the attention of a lady called Kiera.
However, because this is a physical activity and I'm classed as disabled, do I need to inform the Benefits Office as they could look into my claim if I can do Taekwondo competitions?
The BTC says they can put me into a Para division as I'm disabled, would that make any difference?

I've not come across this before but I don't believe you need to tell them. You should be fine as long as it doesn't contradict what you've told them you are capable of.

Hi, noticing that your bio says you are aspergers… if your benefits claim is based mostly on cerebral functional limitations, ie anxiety, communication, maybe executive functioning etc etc then I wouldn't say being able to do Taekwondo has any relevance as it wouldn't contradict anything. I've made assumptions here, but just to illustrate my view, and I hope I haven't offended. I'm Mum to a 28 year old autistic son

I also have Dyspraxia and Spinal Stenosis which I've had from birth (50 years last month ago)
Sir is aware of my problems and makes allowances in Classes.
I'm also rather good at sparring.
