When will we have a proper Labour party
I just wish we could go back to a proper Labour Party and not a Blair or Miliband party, lets go back to grass roots where they used to help people. Politicians get richer as we get poorer.

This will never happen. The Labour party got hijacked by conservatives decades ago and embedded themselves so deep within the internal machinery that the party must be replaced at this point.
The closest we have to socialism in the UK is the Green Party, alongside nationalist parties in the other constituent countries.

To be fair, he is leaving benefits alone this time. But the greens won't apparently, now they're getting disgruntled with their leader, well the people who started are. They say Polanski hijack the party?.

Labour party is handicapped by the mismanaged and over the top spending by Rishi Sunak via the furlough scheme where he paid full wages during the lock down instead of paying unemployment benefit until they could return to work which would have been far cheaper than the furlough scheme. The furlough scheme was further abused by rogue elements setting up phantom companies claiming payments for phantom employees. He made this worse by spending on "Eat out to help out" and drafting in foreign workers and nurses especially from India

Pensioners, private landlords and farmers have voted for other parties in protest to unfair taxes and laws recently passed against them. Labour needs to make new laws to re-assure landlords that rogue tenants will not be allowed to abuse the renters rights law. The rents will then come down again making it easier for the tenants to secure affordable rents and council house waiting lists.

There's obviously more food banks where there wasn't in the 90s. But it is reported people that don't need food banks are using them, just like some are claiming benefits that don't need too and some are claiming and working on the side. I suppose it could be said if that was sorted, then there would be plenty for everyone without the need for cuts. But it's not just benefits that are being affected, it's all the lower class who are suffering too that rely on on a decent living. Automation like the Industrial Revolution of 1760 to 1840 have changed the way we worked forever.
