ESA & Self Employment
Just received a letter from ESA to state they need a full breakdown of my yearly including income expenses hourly rate and per day and week. I am self employed and have previously sent them my tax return as requested to make sure I am earning under the threshold for NS ESA.

I work a few hours each month and is a sales commission based only role. I can provide income and expense information however I am unable to provide hourly rates and exact hours I work daily and weekly. I was never advised when starting my claim to do timesheets for self-employment as my job is commission based only sometimes I might not be paid for six months after a sale is completed other times it could be a month after it is not consistent pay. I have called the helpline to explain this but they have passed on to a decision-maker who they have stated could remove me from being illegible for ESA as I am unable to provide this information. Can someone please advise as surely this is discrimination?
