How long does it take to get a decision about backpay in your journal after awarded LCWRA. Thank you.

Hi @tuppodog. I'm not entirely sure how long it takes. Here's some information about LCWRA back which might be useful
Hopefully one of our members will have experience of this.

There are no fixed time frames, it can take a couple of days to a couple of months.

Hi, just to add in terms of a decision there isn't one. You've been awarded LCWRA - the relevant date will usually be the date you provided evidence (fit note) and in terms of backpay there's the relevant period (think that's what it's called) so three assessments periods where there isn't a payment due ie no back pay due. This will just be sitting there waiting to be actioned/processed so depending on your timescale there may not be any back pay due but once they've actioned the agent to-do they'll update you via the journal. You'll most probably be able to work it out yourself if you check when you added details of your fit note and then 3 assessments periods - then payment due/back pay. Hope this makes sense.
