advice regarding assessment period please

in Universal Credit (UC)

hello there can i please have some advice as i suffer with anxiety disorder and depression and im very unsure about the assessement period for any savings and how it works

if my assessement period is from the 12th - 11th of the month

and i would be maybe just over £6k when would i have to let universal credit know date wise or is it just straight away.

how does it work please thank you very so much

    Hi,

    For Universal Credit, savings only matter on the final day of the Assessment Period.

    For you that is the 11th of the month.

    hi there thanks so whatever money i have got untill the 11th of next month. then on that date if im over £6k i would then inform them which is the 11th june is that correct?

    11th of June yeah, which would be a fortnight on Thursday from this week.
