Hiring a designated driver?
Above.
Could it be one of the staff here?
I've just spoken to a local Motability dealer I found on Google last week, a guy called Dylan Bailey's supposed to email or call me this week to discuss options for a small Motability vehicle for a small down payment.
I will discuss this with my Finance company when I get a chance, and also my family.

Did you not say that often there is no support staff to accompany you? Will having a Motability car change them being available? I say this only because losing several hundred a month, just you have a car sitting outside, it doesn't make financial sense.
I handed back several cars, simply because they just sat idle most of the time.

It's not that there's no staff, hardly any of them are drivers,
And the few who are drivers are often otherwise engaged taking other residents to appointments and stuff.

You know your own circumstances of course, but please be careful you don't end up in the frustrating position of having a shiny, new Corsa, but no available driver.
If my opinion counts for anything, I would opt to see about driving lessons first, then you are free as a Bat(man). 🦇
