I received an inheritance from my dad and we're going to use it for downstairs bedroom and on suite for disabled husband, do I need to show UC every Receipt for our Building Works

Possibly. I'd urge on the side of caution and keep hold of any receipts in case you are asked for them.

Requesting a receipt means you'll likely be charged VAT. In case you're not aware you can claim the VAT back for certain adaptation work that is deemed necessary 👍
