What lovely pics @michael57 Stunning flowers.
And @Bluebell21 too, those dahlias. Do they attract bees, I wonder?
I've got a fuchsia that I was hoping to be of use for bees or butterflies, but I haven't seen much activity around it. However, I did manage to propagate a few sprigs. They are already starting to root, so hopefully more pots in the garden with those.

Yes bees are attracted to dahlias. @SmellyBin We also have a buddleia commonly known as the butterfly bush in the garden the bees and butterflies love it. Just have to try and keep Sam away from it. Although I am hoping if he gets stung once that will put him off.
Fuchsias are good for bees and butterflies so hopefully you will get some. How lovely that you managed to propagate a few sprigs, I love growing things.

Cool, I am hoping to see lots of them, they are very welcome @Bluebell21 the bees and butterflies.
This year I managed to grow four butterfly bushes from cuttings. And last week I've also took some from a hydrangea and forsythia, but I've never tried to propagate these simply in water before. We'll see how that will turn out.
I don't want to spend money on plants and most garden centers only have plants full of pesticides, here in the NL there is an online garden store that sells organically grown greenery. It is nice there are some people who think the same and try to swap.Well, good luck with Sam. One of our cats is very much a hunter and indeed was stung once, leaving her with a swollen and warm paw for three days. Did she change her mind? Nope, still running around after everything she can get her paws on. It is fun to watch her getting agitated and frown at a fly :)

Thats some impressive growth in a month @michael57!
My husband wants to make the front of our house look nicer with potted plants. Any ideas on what are easy to grow and care for? We don't have the best track record for plants.
