Bank statements DWP
I have been asked to upload my bank statements but I just a bit worried has I sell my old stuff on eBay and Vinted. It stuff I brought years ago for myself or stuff my friends and family have given me but nearly all of it was brought or given before I was on universal credit but I selling now because I do not want it and it was in the loft but last year my loft got new insulation in it and it can not go back up there. I donated a lot to charity shops too but there is a bit left that I trying to sell, it does not make much, most going for less than £20, just a bit confused and will it stop my UC and should I talk to my work coach and tell them.

you'll be fine so long as you tell them this.

Thanks, just a little confused. Got a bit to sell still and more to donate but like said, a lot of it only makes as low as a £5 to the most been about £20, a few items make more but not like hundreds or anything.
And I do not have much in my account so it should be ok. Just a bit worrying about handing over my bank statement to people.

Update, I had a message saying they will call me to ask me some questions about my statement so now I worried, because I do not understand why. Is this normal.

Totally normal, part 1 of the process is submitting the bank statements, part 2 is the telephone interview.
They'll ask some scripted questions, then any questions they have about transactions on your bank statements.

Recent AML laws state that online retailers of a certain size have to keep logs of how much people earn. You are allowed to “earn” £1000 a year before it becomes taxable income and they share this with HMRC.
Not exactly to do with your case but if earning a grand is seen as pocket money the amounts you earn shouldn’t cause you any grief

Thanks but I do sell but it is my stuff and mostly my mum stuff but because she can not get a Vinted account because need ID and she has not got any we sell on my account for both of us but it not loads.
I think it may be because my mum got backdated pip and she gave me and my brother some money each and it was a ok amount but it may seem a bit out of place in my bank statement.
But will see next week.
