There's no way Ravi could walk after that kicking. I'm sick of that family yelling. The menace in his character's face last year I found very disturbing. Same with Nicola.

I wish we had seen more of Nigel instead of hours of the awful wife he tried to get away from šŸ˜„

I'm glad they haven't forgot about Nigel @WhatThe. I was a bit concerned the writers would sort of forget about him since he was in the care home.

Has anybody watched the latest couple of episodes? I wonder if Suki will ever warm to Penny..

I watched an episode of Eastenders while I was visiting my parents last week and couldn't believe how many of the familiar older characters were back. Ian, Billy, Honey, Patrick, Zoe, Kat and Alfie and a couple of others! Feels like the 2010s all over again!

Are they working towards a big milestone for something, or have they all been back for a while?

They're all regular characters again @Rosie_Scope! I don't think they're working on anything in particular.

This is exciting @Amberpearl, have they said why he's going back?

I have to admit I'm struggling to stay with EastEnders after 36 years as (for me) I am finding it rather boring and Bea boils my blood.

Chrissie is one of my all time favourites and even her returns were a slight let down after a 19 year wait but I'm not going anywhere I know good things will come again.

But I really miss the days of Pat & Frank, Pauline and Arthur etc

As it has been 6 months since from the flash forward NYD episode, I went back and rewatched it yesterday to see how the plots are linking up so far.

Because Denise is so ill, it makes a lot of sense why Libby comes back!

Laurens dodgy business is referenced so I think that's going to be a plot until the New Year at least.

I don't think Ian goes to prison for drunk driving and knocking over Jordan but I do think there is going to be a big fall out involving Max, Jack and Ian somehow over this…

I still unfortunately think that Penny dies during childbirth and that's why Jack is now looking after a baby and I think that the bride is Cindy.

    What is everybody elses thoughts?

I could barely follow that episode and can't access a repeat..

Jordan is Jack's grandson as he's married to Denise so he would be upset about the drunk-driving. I hope there's a lesson here about one drink taking Ian over the limit (if it did). Who is Libby?

Having Penny die during childbirth would give the wrong message to any wheelchair user contemplating pregnancy. Pick on someone else for that storyline !!

I think he'll marry Linda - Cindy looked horrified!

Libby is Denise's other daughter @WhatThe. I hope there's a lesson too, I think it could be especially as they seemed to make quite a point about it only be one drink.

Ha yeah after last nights episode I think you may be right about Linda being the bride! But now I think that it was Priya who was the pregnant woman that Max woke up too.

I agree with you about Penny but I can't think who else the baby would belong to and why Jack would be looking after them! Maybe there's a surprise baby for Amy?

I don't know why they're now bonking at a moment's notice, like Ian and Eelaine! I think Max will come to his senses or he'll get a call from Cindy. What use is a drunken man of his age anyway?

Penny's baby will be Jack's grandchild and he may be mourning Denise instead of her.
