Is it just me, or... (Men's Health Week)

So, apparently it's Men's Health Week (15th June - 21st June) so I thought I'd look at simple, no nonsense things we can do to improve our health over the week.

Don't worry. We're not doing some ludicrous and unrealistic 'let's run a marathon' by the end of the week thing. This morning my left arm is giving me some serious grief so I doubt I could even shovel a doughnut into my face, let alone go to the gym!

Instead, I'm going to ask you: what's one very small and manageable thing you could try doing for your health this week?

Note: I'm counting things like actually drinking water versus chugging back 4 or 5 coffees.

    I'm making a concerted effort to open all the curtains today, rather than sitting in the dark. Bit of a bare minimum win but I'll take it!

    I'm making sure that my smart watch is fully charged and aiming to get my steps in each day this week. Also drink plenty of water as I always feel much more energised the following day. 😊

    Honestly I should get outside more, I think it would do me the world of good. But it isn't an option right now.

    I've considered getting a treadmill just to keep me more active

    A walking pad can be a good investment, but any sort of movement, even inside, can be a really positive step. Just setting yourself a reminder to stand up at least once an hour can help.

    I have to remind myself to stand once every hour.

    I'm going to go and visit my family dogs as that always helps ground me with my Autism.
