Do you go out?
I genuinely can't remember the last time I left my flat and I was talking to a friend online about it who was amazed because if they don't go out daily they get 'stir crazy'.
When did you last go out?? Do you go out most days? Do people really invent reasons just to leave the house?

I also struggle to go out of my flat on most days, especially since my MS diagnosis alongside my Autism. I like being inside but I do like getting out once a while, I don't go 'stir crazy' at all though.

Yes, I'm a massive contradiction. 😐️
I go out nearly every day. Absolutely hate being trapped indoors. Put everything I have into getting outside at a specific time, for a maximum of 30 mins, just once a day, to get some fresh air and escape this torturous hell for even a short time.
(The specific time is when my conditions are usually least worst, but I also maintain that time using discipline, which was eloquently put in another of your posts today).
Winds me up that people think I 'choose' to stay indoors the rest of the time. Sadly that's the damage that's been caused by a past diagnosis of agoraphobia. I was never scared of going outside. What I can't stand is being trapped anywhere… Yes that includes being trapped away from home, but it also includes being trapped inside my own flat, and even inside my own body! Getting outside creates a temporary distraction from that…
Unfortunately, the stairs where I live make getting outside impossible for most hours of the day and night. The heat of summer also makes it impossible. And I haven't been able to travel in any vehicle for the last 5 years. So I don't actually 'go' anywhere, just have a gentle walk around the housing estate.
I would be outside much more if I had a ground floor property with a garden. I've given up on the idea of ever driving or travelling again. But having a garden feels like my last shot at some quality of life now…

The last time I left the House was last Saturday morning to visit my Parents, and then we went out from there to Kilner Way Retail Park because Mum wanted to visit the St Luke's Charity shop and go for lunch in Dunelm's Cafe.

My mobility is getting worse so I'm finding it harder, but I make an effort to go out most days as I hate feeling trapped.

My anxiety is the main reason I often go days without leaving the house. It also doesn't help that I work from home. I'm trying to get better at it by popping to the shop across the road otherwise the thought of going out just gets too overwhelming over time.
Do you like being at home @Mr_Shoes_Tied?

I hadn't considered that before and actually, no, I don't. I do as in I'm comfortable here and like my own space but I feel quite suffocated too. Similar to what @OverlyAnxious has described I suppose.
