do you judge people on how they write and assume bad about them if they dont write like you? or assume they better if they write better than you?

    Why would I assume anything on anyone? Unless that person was being nasty towards me I wouldn't assume any bad on anyone.

    The world is full of too many judges and instead we need to see people for who they are and not defining people on their differences, disabilities or anything else. Why is human nature so focused on bullying an minority?

    Writing ability doesn't define a person, it doesn't even tell you the intelligence of a person. You can be the smartest person in the world but still suffer from a form of dyslexia. If anything I would question the intelligence of those who were being judgemental in the first place.

    Also its ironic that if anyone here says they judge someone on their writing ability on a disability forum, a forum designed to be a safe place for individuals who may have some form of writing disability.

    Just saying?

    @rubin16 has answered this beautifully and exactly how I would have. I try not to assume things about anyone.

    No I don't judge people on their writing.

    @oldmanmarple

    Hi, if you feel you are being judged unfairly here the best thing to do is to flag it for the scope moderators to see.

    Sometimes I do, but on here I know not to because I know people can't help not having perfect spelling and/or grammar.

    I judge if the handwriting is scribbly that does this person have dyspraxia or anxiety affecting their handwriting or have they not been eating well or have they suffered some nerve damage. I used to teach so would try to look out for these things. Not to look down or up to anyone. Many ways to try and look out for one another. There's a lot of support that an go missed from not knowing what stuff is to identify it and then miss out getting support.

    Makes no difference to me how someone's spelling or grammar is, it's their character that matters.
