Incontience Questions
I wear pads every day because urinary accidents and bowel urgency are unpredictable. I also have some difficulty in the communication side of it, I struggle to initiate/articulate my needs. I find it hard to tell people or say I am going to go to the toilet in social situations so I try and hold it (which causes accidents).
Is this considered, might sound stupid.. I am awarded under Activity 9 (engaging with others) but do they "interlink" with eachother, I do realise is a completely seperate activity but..
DWP.. scares me..

Hi,
I don't think the communication issue would be considered here.
Likely to be 2 points for needing pads, as long as you can change them yourself.

I thought so, I can change them myself.. I just thought people who can't communicate a need sometimes which leads to an accident would mean necessary to have an aid
As obviously it is not a choice to not being able to communicate but ty

I would still mention it on the form as it lends support and evidence to the communication section.
