I am conducting a research project for Masters in Disability, Design and Innovation at Loughborough University, with support from Scope, to explore how workplace support and assistive technology could better meet the needs of disabled people.

I am inviting disabled people to take part in a short online survey about:

  • Your experiences of work and workplace support
  • Your views on assistive technology
  • Your attitudes towards AI as a possible form of workplace support

You do not need to have used AI tools before, to take part.

Survey poster with QR code. All text on the poster is written below.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you:

  • Are aged 18 or over
  • You are disabled, have an impairment or a long-term health condition, or are neurodivergent.
  • Are currently working, or have been worked at least once in the past 5 years

What does it involve?

The online survey takes around 20 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and your responses will be kept confidential.

At the end of the survey, you can also express interest in taking part in a later:

  • Interview: 45–60 minutes, in person or by video call, with breaks
  • Co-design workshop: approximately 2 hours, in person, with breaks

Participants selected for an interview or workshop will receive a voucher as a thank you for their time: a £10 voucher for taking part in an interview and a £15 voucher for taking part in a workshop. We are unable to offer a voucher for completing the survey, as this is a student research project with limited funding. Thank you for your understanding.

How will the data be used?

Your experiences and ideas will help shape more inclusive workplace support for disabled people. The findings will form part of a Master’s dissertation and may also be published in an academic paper.
