Attendance Allowance+ PIP
Hello can anybody help me and my wife are disabled and pensioners I just wondered if you could claim Attendance Allowance and PIP at the same time and which is the Best one to claim if you can only claim one of them Thanks Alan

Hi @APenny and welcome. You can only claim one which will be AA if you are both state pension age. PIP is for people that have not yet reached state pension age. Hope that helps 😊

attenance allowance is only for those over retirement age and you can't claim it and pip at the same time. If its a new claim for pip and you are over retirement age, you can't claim PIP at all and only AA

If you are under state pension age you can claim PIP, and keep getting it past SPA.
If you are over state pension age, you can only claim Attendance Allowance.
