Hello Gollum - I have ataxia (cerebellar ataxia) too. Affects the balance and use of the legs, I do physio exercises which are supposed to help' The condition is I think progressive.
I can get about the house usually, but its difficult outside, even with a stick. I'm losing all confidence. How is it with you?

I have cerebellar ataxia - its progressive and affects my balance, my walking and gives me severe tremors in both hands, is beginning to affect my speech - my wife says I mumble all the time and now is beginning to make me incontinent. I really don't know what to do. As I have said in another post my wife will not discuss these issues with me.
