Have received an enquiry from Work and Pension giving 03457 123456 as the telephone number to use in order to reply. This number doesn't work from outside the UK. Anyone know of an alternative that does work or is use of this number an excuse to make things more difficult for claimants?

    If you are calling from abroad, these are the phone numbers to call depending on the type of benefit:

    • Jobseeker’s Allowance: +44 1912 187 652
    • Incapacity Benefit and Maternity Allowance: +44 1912 187 644
    • Employment and Support Allowance: +44 1912 182 050

    Lines are open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
