Brown
My daughter's favourite colour is brown, which I don't understand at all, is it anyone else's favourite? If not, what is?
Mine changes as much as the weather but I think it often comes back to Yellow, it's such a happy colour!
If this was a colour this would be my favourite:

My favourite colour is a deep purple. ( I get some strange looks in underwear departments pointing out different things 😋… do I care … )
But I can see the attraction of browns. I like looking at different types of wood and all the brown hues in each species. Sometimes it's very subtle in a pale wood but the right finish and that lil' subtle bit can really 'pop'
A few rooms in our house are shades of light brown … a calming colour which is also meant to be grounding and lower anxiety

My favourite colour is Green, I have green everything usually and am obsessed with the colour. I have green watches, green shoes, green hoodies, green lighting round my computer, green themed bedroom.
Second to this though I love purple too, so usually will choose green and purple colours and mix them.

I like yellow!
It's a happy colour, but in my opinion not so loud as some bright colours. I find it also goes with lots of colours, there aren't many colours that seem to clash with it…but maybe that's just because I like it! I also like how it's less likely to be attributed to a particular gender, it's not seen as overly masculine or feminine.

Not sure I have a favourite colour, but if I had to pick one it would probably be blue. (Not for walls though!)
I agree that brown seems an odd favourite colour. Has she ever done a colour-blind test?

I can kind of get liking brown. As said above the variety of browns is so broad. I don't know if it's just me, but I find it a cognitively cheap colour to be immersed in - by which I mean it seems far less likely to demand cognitive resources & overwhelm in the way that loud colours might…but at the same time it's not so neutral as to be boring or forgettable. 🤔

Yellow is a favourite of mine too. But I would say my absolute favourite is a sort of turquoisey blue like the sea:
My front door is that colour. When we first came for a viewing I felt like it was a good sign and we ended up living here, so maybe it was! 😁

I've always liked brown too, although it seems very unpopular. In around the late 2000's the colour did have some brief popularity though, remember how some people wore brown tops and brown shirts like Max Branning in Eastenders? Around the time I wore a brown long sleave T shirt myself, and had bought some brown bath towels and a brown duvet.
My favourite colours are pastel yellow, neon yellow, burgundy, and turquoise.

Oh colours rock my world - all of them. There's a time and a place for every colour in my life, as well as black and white. Speaking of colours on a Sunday...... ☺️

I like nice pastel colourful shades and bright colours.
Dark colours don't suit me at all.

I'm different, you could almost say I'm a bit of a Goth, always liked dark colours like black and dark blue.
Although back in my Secondary school years they forced me to wear a pair of awful brown Corderoy trousers.

To clarify here, what are we talking about as our favourite colour? In home decorating? In clothing? In flowers? In the forest? In food? In hair colour? In makeup? In cars? There are colours everywhere, but no colour goes everywhere. Right?

Bright bold colours are my favourite!
My ultimate favourite colour is a bright fuschia pink and my favourite colour to wear is cobalt blue and cool toned red. I also really like wearing crisp white shirts/tops but this is incredibly rare as I'm worried about stains😂
I can understand the appeal of lighter/paler shades of browns in the home as I can see how that could be quite calming and a neutral colour so you can have pops of brighter colours like cushions etc!0 -
I've always loved blue, all shades, but as i've got older i've tended to be drawn to brighter colours like red, yellow, orange etc.

I wouldn't be seen deceased in anything pink.
Give me a pair of black joggers, black shoes and a grey top any time.
