What do you love most about your home? ποΈπ
For me, it's the decking area and garden because I find it very therapeutic. We have a little solar powered fountain and the sound is so relaxing. It's heaven π

The blood sweat and tears i put into it. Bought a derelict house on a good street, took a while but I'm still here 34 years later.

At the moment I have mixed feelings about where I live, the place itself is lovely, there's just nowhere near enough staff, 3 staff on duty most of the time to 5 residents is NOT acceptable, however, permanent staff shortages have been a thing in the care sector since forever.

It gives him personality doesn't it, bless him. I sometimes wake up the wrong side of the bed wishing I could growl at people but that's "frowned upon" in most places π
How long does the grooming of them all take? That sounds exciting! Hopefully it goes well and you're happy with her π

I love the fact I have a beautiful apartment situate 5 minutes stroll to the town and beaches.

Having to move to a 2 bed house after mum died, had notice 2 months after she passed from housing association. Took a year through bidding. The place is nice but the garden fences between all neighbours are around 4ft. No privacy apart from high ones on patio. When I moved in 9 years ago there was nothing in the garden, apart from a overgrown tree. Over the years I have planted roses, magnolia tree, lavender, rosemary, plus smaller flowers. Got veg growing this year. My patio has tubs of plants and veg. Plus a catio for my cats. It's slow progress because of my health now, one side neighbours is nice, but the adjoining one, her new bloke smokes strong weed which I have to shut the windows

I downsized a few years ago to a five year old modern house as my health issues became more of an issue.
It is bright and open plan and best of all easy to clean. It is my safe place.
I love my garden and patio and spend at lot of time outside. I get very excited when new shoots appear as it is new life and new hope.

For me it's the dappled light we get in the living room during the afternoon. The sun comes over to the front of the house and filters through the trees out front. It spreads beautiful spots of light and shadow that dance about all through the room. I love it βΊοΈ

That sounds beautiful @Andi66! Is it the first year your growing veg? We sometimes grow tomato's. What have you gone for?
Not ideal having a neighbour that does that though. Hopefully it doesn't interrupt your garden time too much.

My favourite 'spot' in the lounge, I always thought it was a weird thing only on TV but I definitely have the area I'm most comfortable in.

Those who haven't used a bidet before, they don't know what they're missing! When you add in heated air, well, it certainly knocks Andrex' idea of clean into a cocked hat.
The remote control can alter position, water pressure, temperature, flush sequences, you name it. One can even alter for the sex of the user! π€
