I had no idea you could eat fuschias @michael57! I just looked it up, sounds interesting! I've got a huge elderflower bush in my garden so I definitely want to experiment with making some cordial or something next year.
Here's some of my pots and some flowers from my one flower bed. It's a new bed so they're still establishing themselves but getting there! Don't mind the weeds! It's been far too hot for weeding 🥵

Another non native species that is highly invasive, we have the Victorians to thank for it and many other invasive species

I have two large half Whisky Barrels outside and it is fair to say as a former professional gardener & estate ranger, I don’t like how they have turned out. Including the two rose shrubs I have planted. I plant to take them out and start afresh. I want to put an Acer Palmatum in one pot, then a Magnolia in the other which is called Magnolia Susan which is the name of my late Aunt. I will then probably plant primulas around the bottom of them.

I started planting with just 5 Planters which are at the back and moved on to more and more planters and Pots. The ones next to the Wall (5 of them) I sowed seeds in around Mid April. The 5 front ones(Brown) came roughly a couple of weeks later. The Round Tubs one has a Rose Bush which I re potted when it arrived in delivery. As yet it's not shown any signs of growing but it's early days and maybe next year it will start to grow some more. I'll be protecting it when winter comes with some Mulch Mats. The 2 long Troughs below are Sunflower seeds. They were a Gift from the Local Hospice when I donated to their Sunflower Memories appeal. I nominated my Late wife as I always do every year. I am dead chuffed that they are showing signs of life. Those more than any of the other plants are special and I'd have been devastated had they not done anything. I have 5 more Round Pots which I forgot to take a photo of. They haven't started doing anything yet considering I only planted them as Bulbs 24th June and 27th June. Early days yet. Notice the Solar powered Items as well. I have 2 Butterfiles ones and 2 Angels and 1 Dwarf. They all look loverly and in time I may add to them. My next task is to fasten 2 Brackets to the wall and hang Hanging Baskets from them. Like a fool I forgot to write down what's growing in what planter. I realise I should have wrote down a number on each planter and what was in it. Not to worry I'm just pleased I'm getting some results.
