Good for him, surely this is to be applauded, what's the issue? Well this gentlemen has been vocal in the past, with regards to denying help to others. A hypocrite in politics, whatever next!

When someone experiences what they deny or don't have any empathy for, I think they will learn a very valuable lesson from it. If they have power and influence over vulnerable people suffering from the same thing then it's surely a good thing as they may then be more empathetic towards those people.
I can only think that people like Farage may have a different view if they got to experience first hand what it's like to have debilitating ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, etc, maybe they then wouldn't be so keen on ripping benefits away from people who suffer from these conditions.
