Years ago. I used to meet and greet on here as a volunteer. My picture is still at the top of the art gallery, which I was instrumental in setting up. Then life got seriously in the way. I have gone from carer to cared for, diagnosed with Parkinson's. I have severe mobility issues. And have only been out of My flat two or three times In the last year and a half. That is about to change as my wife and I move into a new flat with better access.

My left hand No longer works properly. So I have to use a Speech to text Computer program. Within the next few weeks. I will find out If I can still draw, Paint, And otherwise engage. Artistically.

My apologies. For the plethora. of full stops. I blame my program. Cheers.

Hi @JennysDad welcome back. Thank you for giving us an update of your situation.

Good luck with your move into a flat with better access, and hopefully this means you will be able to get out and about more.

Fingers crossed you get good news regarding being able to draw and paint again.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum.

    Please take care of yourself.

Welcome back @JennysDad! I think you were here before my time, but it's lovely to meet you. Your Kaleidoscope discussion has brought us all a lot of joy over the years so it's great to see you back on the community ☺️

Sorry to hear you've been stuck at home for the past year, but I hope the move goes well! Have you got to go far, or are you staying local to where you are now?

Hello Jennysdad and thank you for the fabulous Kaleidoscope thread.

I'm so sorry you're struggling with Parkinson's. One of my best friends is struggling with this too, also in the advanced stage.

Have you seen the documentary movie "Still" with Michael J. Fox, telling his story? It's really quite beautiful. Sad but beautiful. Bittersweet, as life often is.

Welcome back @JennysDad 😊 I don't think we've met before either - must have been before I started too. I'm sorry to read what you're going through, it must be incredibly challenging but pleased you've now got a better flat. Great to have you back with us here!
