Setting up a bank account as a nominee

I am nominee for my daughter, who lacks capacity, so I have set up a separate bank account in my own name to deal with her benefits.

Can anyone please advise me as to whether this is an acceptable method.

    I don't know for sure but I've seen lots of people say that this is the best way as it helps keep your money apart while still in your control
