Facebook and Social Media.

How many of us Dabble in Facebook. I can't imagine life without it now lol. Have made lots of friends over the years and played a few games on there my best one is Hedgies. I've been playing that one for years now ever since it was released. I often wonder how we'd go on now without Social Media. Years ago we grew up without Internet and Mobile Phones. I also dabbled in Tik Tak. In Fact I met my wife way back in 2002 via AOL message boards. In the days of Dial Up Internet. God that was a right pain forever dropping connection and that irritating noise as it reconnected lol. I was glad when Mobile phones came in to being and people could reach me that way rather than have to use a splitter box so the Landline and Internet could be running at the same time. it's amazing how Technology has evolved throughout the Millenium.

    I hate to be pedantic but Facebook literally IS social media.

    At the moment I hate the ruddy thing, every time I post I get insulted and called the R word by some random idiot for my Political and other opinions.

    I don’t see the point in using social networks like Facebook - in fact, you are personally writing a dossier on yourself for Big Brother.
    Read about the recent Instagram scandal, for example.

    I have a very limited Facebook that I keep for some community groups I'm involved with. Lots of them still use it to communicate or advertise events and things. But that's probably the only reason why I keep my account going with them really. I do dabble in Instagram, but again, I'm quite private with what I share there.

    I think it would definitely be a very different world without social media. I can't decide if it would be a good thing or a bad thing though. Maybe both!

    Do you find that some of your friends are leaving Facebook these days @Johnboy412000, or are most of them still around?

    It's nice to sometimes go onto FB and see what old friends are up to who I haven't seen for many years.
