The USA and Australia will upset a few teams, but I'm banking on England this time. I feel they have the right team.

Can big Keir not just make Infantino an offer he can't refuse? That seems to be the thing to do nowadays. 🙄

Be nice not to follow the rules wouldn't it.😂😂

Trump want the next Club World Cup in the US, they just hosted one! I bet our Gianni is strong enough to resist. 🤥

He's control freak who didn't know what a red card was😂😂he doesn't know how football works or anything else for that matter.

I was a little bit surprised he didn't refuse to host the rest of the world cup once America went out, or fight to have it all overturned.
Apparently he's going to be breaking tradition and allowed to hold and pass the trophy to this year's winners 🙃

He has just forgotten, what with the dementia. He apparently played 'soccer' at his military academy in the mid 6os.

@Anhedonia2 He couldn't act in a more vulgar fashion than Emiliano Martínez with the trophy In 2022. The young man obviously forgot where he was for a second.

I'd forgotten about that, so true! So classless and disrespectful, I think he forgot it's a position many millions of people across the world would have loved to be in. The expression of the Qatari attendant always gets me, it just looks like pure disappointment.

I think that man is royalty, an ambassador perhaps? I would have to look it up.

The Emir presented the trophy proper, I can find no more than a 'Qatari official' with regards to the Martinez presentation, I must be mistaken.

Just read Martínez was paying back booing French supporters, he was pointing at them as he did it. Very crass, I think it shows great disrespect to the hosts.

Thank God trump doesn't invest in football or it would be bankrupt, he hasn't attended one match yet😂And it is football, not soccer as those ignorant American people keep saying.

I believe the gentleman is wary of being booed, just like at the Knicks game. His people thought he would be safe on the Jumbotron, as the Star Spangled Banner was bring sung, we know how patriotic they are in the US; the crowd booed him loudly all the same!

It could well be, I couldn't find any information either so went with a safe option. Whoever it was, his expression was priceless!
If anything I think doing it was payback makes it worse somehow, and almost shows people he was undeserving of it at all. It's just disrespectful to everyone.
He's apparently set to attend the final. I think @ChrisR777 is right, he is worried about being booed. The amount of editing they've had to do from things he attends is wild. I will be very interested to see what kind of reception he gets if he attends and how much it's edited/restricted from broadcast.

Scottish League Cup started today, so far no players have withered away without a 'hydration break'. 😁
