I've found it interesting that not many of the players actually drink during the 'hydration break', a couple do but most rinse their mouth and spit the drink back out and huddle for tactic talks, which has added an interesting element and you can see the impact it has after some breaks.

I wouldn't care about the so-called hydration break at the World Cup, if I believed it was for the wellbeing of players, but i believe it has been introduced to benefit tv companies etc.

The game has become soft enough in my lifetime, I remember when full backs were allowed to actually tackle attacking players, and if you got kicked, you gritted your teeth, and made out it didn't hurt. Revenge would be gained later in the game. 😇

I've started to include the women's too and yes they are..The lower leagues always start before the Premiership league. Getting close to the start of the season now.

I will never accept such offensive amounts of money wasted on football players, quite often in areas with great need of investment. Just as well my local team still deal in the tens of thousands, if that.

They won't be winning any trophies, but at least i don't have to hold my nose to go to see them. 🤔
