Pip extended without review

Hi all, just a quick one has anybody got a letter from dwp saying they have extended thier award.(this wasn't part of a standard review)which was done a few yrs ago 7 years rewarded now reward will be ten years and it will now be a light touch review. This jas come out the blue and my next reward date was meant to be 2028 now 2031. Just wandering if this is normal when you were not waiting on an actual review answer.

    Hello @mags1234.

    They are currently extending lots of awards and a number of our members here have had the same thing happen. Hopefully it gives you a piece of mind a little while longer?
